I was born and raised in Mexico City and am now based in NYC.
As a Sr. Software Engineer at Studio Elsewhere, I design and build tools for world-renowned neuroscience researchers, healing physical experiences for healthcare workers, and software applications to empower people with limited abilities with a way to express their creativity. I'm an alumnus of the ITP Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU and have a B.S in Mechatronics Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico.
I have previously been part of the NYC Mayor's Office for the Chief Technology Officer Smart Cities Lab and Tomorrow Lab, and my work has been featured at the ASCAP Lab Music Association, NYC Media Lab Summit, and the Venice Biennial.
A background in engineering and business, paired with a passion for design allows me to build products that achieve a goal, or simply explore an idea or feeling.
My hobbies include playing and composing classical piano music, building my own musical instruments, reading, free-hand sketching, and snow skiing.
I'm always interested in nerding out or collaborating, so don't be shy and reach out to connect.
